**Don’t forget there will be a National Honor Society meeting tomorrow after school in Mrs. Barron’s room.

**The Forensics Team made a fine showing at the national qualifying tournament this past weekend in Pueblo.  First alternate in Drama is Julie Slaughter.  First alternate in Original Oratory is Erin Smith.  Going to national competition in Kansas City are James Miller and Mike Taylor in Duo Interpretation.  Great job team!

SPORTS

**C Squad baseball won their first game of the year 6 to 4 against Palmer, thanks to the tough pitching of brothers Jeremy and Cody Gwinn.  Max Levy provided the offense with a 2 RBI single and scored 2 runs of his own.  Mike Hawkins and Josh Adair kept the Palmer runners off base by playing stellar defense.  Congrats to the C Squad team!

**All Baseball players must turn in their fundraiser cards by today or buy them.

**Baseball C squad practice is cancelled today, turn in your cards and go home. Practice 3:15 tomorrow.

**Pump it up….for……Peach Fuzz!  Attention Junior  and  Senior boys, your chance to show off your volleyball skills is finally here!  Peach fuzz will be held tomorrow, March 10th.  Sign up sheets are available in Mrs. Kaka’s room 201.  Stop by ASAP!  Don’t miss your chance.

**Attention all prospective cheerleaders for next school year:  Cheerleading tryouts will be held April 5th - 8th.  Before the first practice you will need an updated physical, you will need to have paid the activity fee, and you will need two teacher recommendations.    Please see Mrs. Neal in the Activities Office for forms, payment and a green card.

**Did you know that 5 lucky freshmen will win a $20.00 lunch credit during the CSAP Completion Celebration?
